IBS PlyFloor has been designed for use as a flooring substrate as well as an ideal substrate under roofing or decking rubber membranes.
Being certified to AS/NZS 2269 to a strength grade of F11 gives the assurance of structural integrity along with the knowledge that this is a product designed for use in New Zealand.
IBS PlyFloor is a certified “A” bond using an exterior phenol-formaldehyde resin, mission class E0, complying with other international Low Formaldehyde Emission (LFE) requirements like JAS Super-E0. A plastic tongue and groove runs along the length of the sheets and makes it easy when flooring directly over joists.
IBS Plyfloor is only available as H3.2 Treated to give you the maximum protection against the elements.
Plyfloor Intended Use
The floor framing must be designed to NZS 3604: 2011, (section 7) or specifically designed to NZS 3603:1993. Where the substrate is existing, the designer must assure themselves that the substrate is suitable for the intended building work and intended building use.
Account shall be taken in consideration of the floor loads, refer to NZS 3604:2011, (section 1). Plyfloor can be used as a structural floor diaphragm when specified in accordance with NZS 3604:2011 (section 7).
Deck or roof substrate
Specification must be in accordance with E2/AS1 with all fixings (materials and spacings) in accordance with NZS 3604:2011.
