Warehouse Storeman

About the role

IBS is a family owned national importer and distributor of panel products. Our office and national warehouse is located in Panmure, Auckland.
A great opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Storeman to join our IBS.

This role (reporting to the Warehouse Manager) will see you ensuring that customer orders are picked in a timely manner, working to an accurate, efficient, and quality focused standard.

Experience in a warehouse environment would be an advantage but not essential, and you will hold a clean current FULL NZ Drivers Licence. A current fork hoist licence would also be a plus, but again not essential.

You will also have good reading and arithmetic skills. Being well organised and focused will be an advantage as this is a role that can have tight deadlines.

We’re looking for:

– Current clean FULL NZ drivers’ licence
– Fast learner
– Attention to detail
– Reliable and punctual
– Needs to be able to work closely in a small team
– Experience not necessary but enthusiasm and willingness to learn is.

Working hours will be Mon-Thurs (7.30am – 4.30pm), Fri (7.30am – 4pm).

Tasks & responsibilities

– Packing and unpacking pallets of goods
– Conduct regular stock takes
– Despatching orders
