What is IBS FutureFloor™,?

FutureFloor™ is manufactured using Fine Oriented Strand Board (FOSB) technology, an advanced engineered wood product specifically designed for structural flooring applications.

FOSB is produced by compressing carefully selected wood strands with high-performance resins under heat and pressure. Unlike particleboard, which is manufactured from fine wood particles, FOSB uses larger engineered strands that are strategically oriented throughout the panel to improve strength, stability, and overall structural performance.

The panel consists of multiple layers of wood strands, with each layer engineered to work together to create a strong and uniform flooring system. This manufacturing process helps deliver excellent consistency across every panel, reducing natural variations and providing a reliable substrate for a wide range of floor finishes.
The result is a durable structural flooring panel that combines the benefits of engineered wood technology with the strength, stability, and reliability required for modern residential and commercial construction.
